Brr 20/Cary300
Peltier-controlled cuvette holder with extended low temperature response for the Cary 100 and Cary 300 SpectrophotometersThe Brr 20/Cary300 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder for the range of +110 °C down to -55 °C. It is designed for use in your Cary 100 or Cary 300 Spectrophotometer. The Brr 20/Cary300 replaces the sample tray of the Cary 300. It is mounted on a base plate and has utilities brought to the front panel for convenient access. The temperature-controlled cell holder is placed in the sample position and a second cell holder for the range of +110 °C down to -55 °C and a second cell holder without temperature control is placed in the reference position. Use the Brr 20/Cary300 to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. This product is provided with a windowed vest to enhance performance at low temperatures and minimize condensation that may form on the windows. Circulating water is used to remove heat from the Peltier heat exchanger. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the Brr 20/Cary300, using the TC 1B Temperature Controller included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase. Alternatively, use an ADL program for temperature ramping with WinUV ADL Shell software.
