Brr 20/Cary60
Peltier-controlled cuvette holder with extended low temperature response for the Cary 60 (or Cary 50) UV/Vis SpectrophotometerThe Brr 20/Cary60 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder for the range of +110 °C down to -55 °C. It is designed for use in your Cary 60 (or Cary 50). Install the Brr 20/Cary60, by screwing it down in place in the sample compartment. Utilities may be routed through a small panel in the back of the spectrophotometer. Use the Brr 20/Cary60 to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. This product is provided with a windowed vest to enhance performance at low temperatures and minimize condensation that may form on the windows. Circulating water is used to remove heat from the Peltier heat exchanger. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the Brr 20/Cary60 using the TC 1B Temperature Controller, included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase. Alternatively, use an ADL program for temperature ramping with WinUV ADL Shell software.
