Brr 20/Specord

The Brr 20/Specord is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder for the range of +110 °C down to -55 °C. It is designed for use in Analytik Jena Specord UV/Vis Spectrophotometers. The Brr 20/Specord mounts on the pair of accessory bars. Use the Brr 20/Specord to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. This product is provided with a windowed vest to enhance performance at low temperatures and minimize condensation that may form on the windows. Circulating water is used to remove heat from the Peltier heat exchanger. Control the Brr 20/Specord, using the TC 1 Temperature Controller included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
