Luma 40/RF6000
Peltier-based temperature-controlled cuvette holder for a Shimadzu RF-6000 SpectrofluorophotometerInstall the Luma 40/RF6000 temperature-controlled cuvette holder in Shimadzu’s new RF-6000 Spectrofluorophotometer and take full advantage of the extraordinary stability and high signal to noise offered by this instrument. The Luma 40/RF6000 inserts easily into the sample compartment of the RF-6000, using Shimadzu’s special front panel (typically used for a sipper accessory). We can provide this Shimadzu part, if needed.
Fluorescence is sensitive to temperature. Report your results with precise and reliable temperature control. Use the Luma 40/RF6000 for normal temperature ranges of -15 °C to +105 °C. Add a Windowed Jacket, purge with dry gas and run the temperature down to at least -40 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option and extend the range up to +150 °C. Although currently operating independent of the spectrometer software, the Luma 40/RF6000 may be controlled using the menu button on the front of the TC 1/Single controller or through program T-App available from Quantum Northwest.
