t2 Sport/8454
Peltier-driven temperature-controlled cuvette holder for the 8452, 8453 and 8454 Diode Array SystemsThe t2 Sport/8454 is an inexpensive, temperature-controlled cuvette holder for a single cuvette. It is easy to mount in the open sample compartment of the Cary 8454 Diode Array UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
The t2 Sport/8454 is ideal for work in the biological range of 0 °C to 110 °C. To work at colder temperatures down to -15 °C, purge the unit with dry gas to prevent condensation. Questions? Quantum Northwest offers a complimentary downloadable guide to working with your benchtop spectrometer at high and low sample cuvette temperatures.
Operate the t2 Sport/8454 using the Agilent ChemStation software (with a Quantum Northwest driver available now as a free download), or use the TC 1 Temperature Controller, included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
Enjoy the power to capture absorbance spectra at precisely maintained sample temperatures, and to observe how sample absorbance changes with temperature. With the t2 Sport/8454, a wide range of Peltier-based temperature control is now available for your existing Diode Array UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Easily plan and execute experiments that were not previously possible.
