qX2/8453
Air-cooled, Peltier-controlled cuvette holder for the Olis Upcycled HP 8453 Diode Array SystemThe qX2/8453 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder with two optical ports for use in the open sample compartment of your 8453 Diode Array System. Set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment.
Although dependent on rapid, precise Peltier technology, no circulating water is required for normal operation from 0 °C to 110 °C. Purchase the low temperature option, consisting of a windowed vest and capability for liquid cooling, and operate the qX2/8453 from 0 °C down to -35 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control using the TC 1B Temperature Controller, included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
Many experiments will benefit from the qX2/8453 alone. If you have greater needs, our partnership with OLIS, Inc. of Bogart, GA can enable you to assemble a new system. Let OLIS upcycle the HP 8453 to capabilities far beyond those it had when new. Retire ChemStation and upgrade to OLIS SpectralWorks. This Windows 7/10 program includes software for 2D and 3D analysis of kinetic and equilibrium data. Achieve the full potential of your HP 8453 with OLIS and Quantum Northwest.
