qX2/EVO

The qX2/EVO is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder with two optical ports for use in Thermo Scientific™ Evolution™ 300 or 600 Spectrophotometers. with absorption spectroscopy. Simply replace the sample cuvette holder and its mounting plate in either the Utility connections run down in the front of the instrument through slots provided for this purpose. Use the qX2/EVO to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. Although dependent on rapid, precise Peltier technology, no circulating water is required for normal operation from 0 °C to 110 °C. Purchase the low temperature option, consisting of a windowed vest and capability for liquid cooling, and operate the qX2/EVO from 0 °C down to -35 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the qX2/EVO, using the TC 1B Temperature Controller included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
