qX3/RF6000
Air-cooled, Peltier-controlled cuvette holder for a Shimadzu RF-6000 SpectrofluorophotometerThe qX3/RF6000 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder three optical ports for the Shimadzu RF-6000 Spectrofluorophotometer. The qX3/RF6000 mounts in the sample compartment, replacing the existing cuvette holder and providing a utility panel for the front of the RF6000. To accommodate the utility panel, you will need to purchase a special front cover. Use the qX3/RF6000 to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. Although dependent on rapid, precise Peltier technology, no circulating water is required for normal operation from 0 °C to 110 °C. Purchase the low temperature option, consisting of a windowed vest and capability for liquid cooling, and operate the qX3/RF6000 from 0 °C down to -35 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the qX3/RF6000, using the TC 1B Temperature Controller included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase. The RF-6000 is not yet capable of controlling the Quantum Northwest product.
