TLC 50 (discontinued)
Peltier-based temperature-controlled cuvette holder with four optical portsThis is a discontinued product. Please see the Luma 40.
The classic TLC 50 has four optical ports permitting measurement of fluorescence at 90 degrees to the excitation on either side of the excitation beam. Use the Luma 40 for normal temperature ranges of -15 °C to +105 °C. Add a Windowed Jacket, purge with dry gas and run the temperature down to at least -40 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option and extend the range up to +150 °C or down to -50 °C. Fluorescence is sensitive to temperature and reliable measurements require the precise temperature control of the Luma 40. Operate the TC 125 Temperature Controller using the controls on its front panel, control it via Windows program T-App or use the simple text commands of the TC 125 to write your own control program. The model on sale has a base that easily mounts on an optical breadboard. Configurations for mounting in spectrometers are available for added expense.
