Sample carriage for a films or flat materials

This carriage holds a 20 mm wide by 25 mm tall substrate or film in the versatile CD 250 sample holder. A retaining ring holds the sample in place. The carriage is placed in the CD 250. Captured tie-down screws allow the user to screw the carriage in position to make good thermal contact with the temperature-controlled base. Since this substrate or film is suspended across the spectrometer beam, it is essential add windows to the CD 250 to block convection (see product Window/FS15 as an option).
