NeutroniQ 3×3
Peltier-driven temperature control for neutron scatteringThe NeutroniQ 3X3 provides temperature control for nine NIST-style cell carriages from below zero to +150 °C. Each set of three carriages has its own TC 1/Single Temperature Controller, operating at 15 Volts. Thus, each set of three carriages can be set to their own temperature. A generous spacing between carriages permits measurement at wide scattering angles. The 3×3 is only a typical configuration. Any number of these three-carriage units may be combined in a single row.
Typically, sample carriages support banjo-style cuvettes. The carriages may be screwed down in place for good thermal contact. We can provide cuvette carriages, if needed. Windows at the beam entrance and behind the cuvette, provide a temperature-controlled chamber. The exit window is enlarged to permit measurement of scattered neutrons.
