Versatile-cell Peltier-driven temperature control for neutron scatteringThe SuperNeutron 6 provides temperature control from below zero to 150 °C for six cuvettes in a single, long cuvette carriage. This carriage is powered by a single TC 1/Single Temperature Controller operating at 24 Volts. Since the cuvettes are closer in this configuration, only narrower scattering angles are available.
Sample carriages are currently available for six banjo-style cuvettes or for standar rectangular cuvettes that are 10 mm wide (inside dimension) by 1, 2, 5, or 10 mm thick. The carriages may be screwed down in place for good thermal contact. Windows at the beam entrance and behind the cuvette, provide a temperature-controlled chamber. The exit window is enlarged to permit measurement of scattered neutrons, although not as wide an angle as in our other neutron scattering products.
